Stuffy nose sine on bactrim and dorx

she has had a perpetually stuffy nose since starting bactrim and doryx. anyone have this?

Flood her with probiotics and see if that helps. Worked wonders for us.

when you say "flood" ... what do you mean. she only tolerated culturelle at this point. how many would you give???

It seems a lot of lyme patients have sinus issues. Betterhealthguy.com uses nasal wash just like he does toothpaste, on a regular basis. Here are some he recommends:

 

-sinu Soothe

-Propolit (made from propolis - from honey bees)

-Manuka honey (mixed with saline--100cc saline/1 tsp honey)

 

He has others on his site, but some burn, so you may not want to use those!

 

My son is currently being treated for abx-resistant staph,for the second time! When treatment is over, we are going to have a regular (every few days) nasal spray.

I use GSE tea tree oil and Xylitol on myself Tri Guard it's called. . I had MARCONS. also my son does a regular spray as well, GSE, Xylitol. Seems marcons is going to be a life long issue as we go in and out of moldy buildings in out daily lives.
