what is the name for strep titres test?

I would like to get my son tested for strep titres. What is the name for this test , and can I order it myself??

The ones that we have done are ASO Antibody and DNASE B. We have always had our neurologist order them so I don't know if you can have them done on your own. Our insurance does cover this. Deanna

TO TEST FOR PANDAS you should have a blood test to assess elevated streptococcal antibodies (Anti-DNAse B and Antistreptolysin titers (ASO)

Be sure to include a throat culture of group A B-hemolytic strep. Ask that the specimen be cultured, not just the rapid test.
