MamaOnAMission Posted May 24, 2012 Report Posted May 24, 2012 My child tested negative to cloatridiA (she's always possitive)and all we did was have her on bactrim and minocycline. I don't think these antibiotics kill cloatridia, So I'm thinking that perhaps the cloatridiA went away since we are treating Lyme and Bart. Could this be a possibility??? What else could have made cloatridiA go away? She wasn't on any probiotics either. I must add, that now her yeast is a problem!

But my son has been on probiotics since day one (several different ones). He had big stomache issues in the beginning, but they are better now, however the dr. still wants him on probiotics. The dr. also thought that yeast was a huge die-off, when he had it recently. She put him on Itraconazole for 3 months, now he is off of it. Has had to do this treatment about 3 times now during the last 18 months. Glad to hear you are treating.
