Pesticide Spraying For Mosquitos

My city's been planning on spraying pesticides for mosquitos because of West Nile this week. There hasn't even been very many cases of west nile this year. So far thankfully they've been unable to accomplish that due to the first two nights being no wind and they unfortunately want it to drift. Last night it rained so they couldn't spray. I'm hoping the weather will keep making it impossible for them to spray, but I highly doubt that will work forever here.

 

Anyways they are saying you can call them if you don't want them to spray by your house. Their only spraying on main streets, but their wanting it to drift. So considering you don't live on a main street do you think calling them would do any good since they want it to drift anyways. I'm a little irritated over them choosing to spray. They haven't sprayed here since 2003.

it is worth a call and add that you have a neurological condition that is aggravated by pesticides

 

the spray that they usually use is malathione, and it is horrid. I know from experience as I was sprayed while walking on the beach early one morning on Captiva Island in 1996 and became very ill as a result of it.........that was when I started acupuncture/resonance feedback/reflexology and other alternative detox treatments

I am fine now but it was a long process to rid my body of the pesticide and to restore my health

I called the city department and asked if they've sprayed for mosquitos yet and if so when. As all I had heard was from the news saying they didn't spray. They actually did spray for about thirty minutes on Tuesday. Starting on Wednesday, I felt like I was reacting to something, but wasn't for sure. This is the reason why I called to see if they had sprayed. Last night I had a really bad headache and felt nauseated. Maybe this and what I felt starting on Wednesday has nothing to do with the pesticide spraying. I've been having strong earth balance butter cravings too so that could be it or something else also. Their going to spray again tonight, tomorrrow, and Wednesday.
