saflyfish
Hi When i had OCD very badly my psych put me on high levels of Prozac for 6 months... We then tried Zoloft,Effexor,Paxil and just about every other ocd med...each was tried for 6 months with only small improvements. Eventually we tried Anafranil and klonopin.I started with a mid dose of anafranil 100Mg in the morning. Also took 0.5mg klonopin am and 0.5mg pm. At the same time i got a book called "Brain Lock:Free yourself from OCD" by Jeffrey Schwartz.I was sceptical about this CBT method, but it amazingly works if you work hard on it. I would say at this stage my OCD went from 100% intensity to about 15% now. Im not sure if its the meds, the book or both
