Sheila Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012 The Rehabilitation Science Department of the University at Buffalo is conducting several research studies on children with PANS, including a study of sensory processing during PANS exacerbations. To access these studies, please go to http://sphhp.buffalo.edu/rs/ and clickon the link to the PANS studies. Thank you.
fightingmom Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012 Everyone of us can do this! One of the studies is simply a survey. I just filled it out!

SSS Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 I had my dd go through 10 months of Occupational Therapy for SPD (sensory processing disorder) when she was 3-4 years old. Insurance didn't pay, of course, because they don't think SPD is real unless you have an autism dx. I will fill out the survey, thanks.
nicklemama Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 I did the survey. DS's original dx was sensory processing disorder and he had OT for it. Didn't help much, though. PANDAS treatment virtually eliminated the SPD behaviors.
