I know this has been talked about before but...

I think dd9 is herxing. She has bad pain in her right knee and can't walk well. Great news for my little non herxer! However, she can't swallow pills so I can't give her the herb I have to help with herxing. Any suggestions? She's been taking detox baths and foot spas and occasional ibuprofen.

We see our natural doc this afternoon and hope to get her knee adjusted.

Do you have any oral binders? We are currently still using CMS powder 2x a day, but also have bentonite caps and charcoal here.

When things get 'bad' here with dd, I break out Burbur drops, gentle drainage drops, Epsom salt cream (kirkman's makes a good one) start massaging her with it- feet, back, legs.

Glutathione. Milk thistle. Extra drinks. Bowels moving. Of course, motrin.

Sorry about her knee :-(

Hope she feels better soon.

I have some clay, thanks for the reminder. I don't know about CMS powder. I'll look that up.... thanks!

Susan, the CMS powder is a prescription- cholestyramine powder.

Does heating pad help her knee pain?

Hope it clears soon-

Oh, LOL, I use the CMS powder for myself then! The heating pad does not seem to help but I don't think she uses it enough. I'm going to have her sit in the sauna tonight.

Whenever my joints hurt I find heat works best for me so I love the sauna. And when it's really bad I use a ThermaCare pad round the clock. Love my ThermaCare pads! I hope your DD feels better soon, Susan!

My daughter also has lots of leg pains. Not quite related, but do you all find your joints cracking alot? I swear, whenever my daughter moves you can hear her joints crack (arms, legs, hands). Then I hear a quick "oucchh".

Nancy, Oh I love the heating pad too so I'm going to buy some of those therma pads. I think dd will like that if I can get one that will wrap around her knee.

Philamom, we all crack a lot. Sometimes we argue over who's joints just cracked, LOL. dd's back cracks and it's loud.

Susan, if you bought the ThermaCare pad for the back you could wrap it around the knee. That one has Velcro. You might have to cut a slit through one side and pull the other side through so you can wrap it.

Also, whenever my DD's knee bothers her she wears a knee brace we bought at the drug store. That gives her good support, especially when she rides or has gym.

Wellness doc said pulled muscle and not lyme. I think lyme still. He treats lyme but is not a lyme doc you know? But that said, I say it's all lyme when she is still a kid and pulled muscles can happen.

She loves the idea of the therma pad. I wish I had one right now for my back.
