Vitamin D

I tried searching but I couldn't search for "Vitamin D" because "D" was too short of a word.

 

If you have noticed an effect from pill form of Vitamin D, do you also notice the same effect from being out in the sun?

we had a Vit D thread not long ago tho not sure where it is now

 

my son takes extra Vit D (only the lanolin form) for Chron's and has not had any neg effect on tics but in that other thread, many said extra supplemental vitD increased tics

 

we have never tried to compare it to being in the sun

We have a very obvious increase in tics with oral Vitamin D. I have never noticed increases with the sun and in fact, as with a lot of the kids on this forum, she seems to do better in the summer.

We have an increase in tics on oral vitamin D not sun. I've tried several times with the oral.

What dosage of oral Vitamin D are you seeing an increase with?

 

Is the increase temporary for a few hours until the effect wears off and then a return to baseline or does it seem to last longer?

The dosage was 600mg a day. The increase was temp. It took a day or so after stopping and it was a return to his baseline.
