Hi

I have been reading your posts and honestly, it really seems to me that you should be focussing your attention on PANDAS......

from what you describe, your son's tics and the strep may well be directly related.

The only way to help if it is PANDAS is with very specific ANTIBIOTIC treatment, which Ronna and Allison can tell you more about.

hope this helps a bit

hang in there....many have walked this path and found much relief when correctly assessing things! and treating accordingly

Thank you very much. I am going to post to Allison who was also referred to in another post. I think it must be related to PANDAS as well. I'm not kidding when I say my child went from unoticable to the "untrained eye" tics, to "barely go out in public" tics. It just happened overnight and has controlled our world since then. I actually took him off the antibiotic the doc gave him when he got strep, because I thought that is what triggered it. Then I read about PANDAS. Thank you for the tip. It really helps to talk to others in my shoes. I keep having to also remind myself that I know it could be worse. Thanks again!
