Wilma Jenks Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 I tried bactrim 2x's and both times it kept her up even later than usual. She already has severe insomnia. Do you think her body will eventually adjust, and also do you think when I add in the biaxin, it will help?

(I eventually got some Ativan to give on the really bad nights, which helped but I don't want to use it every day because its habit forming.)

My son had severe insomnia, up until 3 or 4 in the morning. It took 3 months on his new abx regimen to see any improvements. And thank goodness we have. He is now going to bed around 1 or so and just started part time afternoon school again. We have been targeting Bartonella and lyme.
Wilma Jenks Posted June 2, 2011 Author Report Posted June 2, 2011 My child did not sleep b4 the Abx. Never got tired and acted very odd into wee hours of the night. I am thinking the bactrim even activates her more, but I am not stopping this stuff.
