cobbiemommy Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 Last summer, I remember reading a comprehensive list of OCD symptoms that really was helpful. Does anyone know where I could find that list? DS, 11, is doing much better because of treatment for Lyme & Co. But dear friend has son who is suffering horribly from tics, ADHD, and some OCD. I remember that list had things on it that I never knew were OCD behaviors..... Please help me help her. Thanks again, Cobbie
KaraM Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 There is a pretty comprehensive list on the FAQ that PANDAS Resource Network has on their site. Make sure to scroll down. it's more comprehensive than those first mentioned in the Symptoms question. Here is a link. http://www.pandasresourcenetwork.org/about-pandas/pandas-faqs.html
cobbiemommy Posted May 6, 2011 Author Report Posted May 6, 2011 This is a good list, but the list I am looking for is different. It was put on this forum by a member, and it was only about OCD, not PANDAs. It was sometime between April and August of last year. Cobbie

philamom Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Is this the one you mean? http://www.latitudes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=6153 bumping up
DesperateInSeattle Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 Thank you so much for bumping the list. I've wondered if the symptoms my DS was exhibiting could truly be called "OCD" since they don't fit the typical hand-washing compulsion. He has to repeat actions and phrases until they're "perfect" and is now making us do it too. He now requires apologies if things aren't just right and he literally can not move on, emotionally or physically until we say sorry just the right way.
cobbiemommy Posted May 11, 2011 Author Report Posted May 11, 2011 That's it! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Sending it on to my friend right this minute! Thanks, Cobbie
