There is a mom on the Parent of kids with PANDAS FB group...her 6-year-old qualified. They've already recieved IVIG (she thinks) and found NIMH/Swedo to be very kid friendly. It sounded like she had a positive experience.

My Mom sent my information in YEARS ago but never heard anything back as far as I know. So awesome to see them doing things like this!

We weren't accepted for the trial. They wanted new diagnoses only. We ended up getting insurance to pay for IVIG thankfully.

we were not accepted for this trial either, due to must be less than 6mos into pandas.

I just read your post about you six year old qualifying for the study. My son Is eight and was just diagnosed. Could you please tell me more about this and who I would contact? Also will they pay for it?

Any info. Would be helpful as I am very new to all of this. My son currently sees dr. K. And is scheduled for the ivig next month, but I am wondering if this is a better option.
