matis_mom Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 So, not to side-track the original post, let's share resources on natural remedies for parasites. Even if you have one family member being "prescription" treated, I've read it's important to treat other family members and prevent re-infection so you don't keep passing it around. That's why I'm doing the Diatomaceious Earth (DE) for all of us. It tastes like chalk and it's not easy to get into them, but I really just so much want to be done with this whole business! I've also heard of some other herbs, parasites cleanses, etc. I'd love to hear other people's experiences with this, and how it has affected their overall progress against Lyme and co-infections.
MichaelTampa Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 For me I've done well on: - BioPure's Gamma Rizole for 1-2 months, then Zeta Rizole for 1-2 months, then antihelmintics (biltricide, and now others) - (these rizoles include the wormwood/blackwalnut/clove combination that are so popular now, but ozonated and much more effective than most non-ozonated versions) - avoiding onions/garlic/mustard has helped enormously (another thread explaining that just started) Other remedies that I have heard others have huge success with (but haven't tried myself): - ParaGone - ParaStroy I really think there is a lot out there. I remember going to one acupuncturist, told her what I was taking, wondered if there was more if this didn't completely do it, she showed me three other completely different remedies that I had never heard of. She said it can be good to rotate through them over time.
pixiesmommy Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Pixie tested positive for small and large parasites with NRT and we had good success w/energy levels going up when she was on VRM1 and VRM2, in rotation with each other and without either (14 days on one, 7 days off, 14 days on the other.) These are sold through Standard Process.
MichaelTampa Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Just realized I forgot to mention, I has seen and heard the Enula (NutraMedix brand) be very effective against parasites/worms. Can also treat babesia.
