KJS Posted April 25, 2005 Report Posted April 25, 2005 I am interested to know what people use and have tried to relieve the pain that some tics cause. My 11 year old daughter's chin-thrusting tic causes her to have pain in her upper back, shoulder & neck area. She goes for cranio-sacral & massage therapy once a week to try to relieve some of the tension and to help maintain proper alignment. Last week she really complained about the pain and took ibuprofen for 2 or 3 days. She's also playing a lot of softball so that might be aggravating it. I'm just curious to know what works for others. Thanks, Karen
CJMillemon Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 Hello Karen. I don't know for sure what 'tics' is but I do know some techniques that releive pain naturally and very effectively. One of them is a yogic healing technique that dissipates and often completely dissolves pain, often in less than a few minutes. edited by moderator as solicitation to purchase products etc is not permitted on this forum
Chemar Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 hi Karen a soak in an Epsom Salts tub (2 cups epsom salts in a warm tub) works wonders acupuncture is also very helpful, and NUCCA chiropracty is highly recommended http://www.nucca.org
