Got my test kit from Igenex

What does the Lyme IFA mean? I wanted to start with the basic panel. Is what's left out important? Thanks, Kathy

When we ran the Igenex basic panel it included the IFA (we're not from NY) and we received a positive IFA, IgM, and negative IgG. We then saw an llmd in CT eight weeks later who retested the Western Blot without the IFA. He said he doesn't usually test for it, which saved us some money.

You can PM Kimballot on the Pandas forum. She's a New Yorker and did Igenex. You might ask her experiences. I know she had to do things differently because of the NY residency.

Thanks, you're right. We do talk. Not available at the moment, so just I was just wondering if the lyme IFA was something important that was being left out. kathy
