Guest Guest
Please check this http://www.mercola.com/2005/feb/2/kitchenware.htm In yet another link in the same page he says "stainless steel" is acceptable along with ceramic .. And in another link (again in the same page) he says "stainless steel is not acceptable". which is true?
Chemar
Our physicians recommended either ceramic or PURE stainless steel cookware, or glass ones. I am not sure why Mercola is confusing people on this. perhaps some cookware that is aluminum and then coated with stainless steel is what he refers to as bad but pure stainless steel is approved by the physicians and health pros that we consulted. Claire
Mercola is indeed inconsistent on this. I think his stainless steel negativity is more recent, so his older links on a page are favorable. Anyway, after reading his input and trying unsuccessfully to find ceramic ones, we got stainless steel recently. I agree with Chemar that based on what we know now, I am comfortable with this. We got the copper bottoms for even heat. No way it can go through 1/4 inch of metal. Claire
