It's an infectious disease dr who we got an appt with through a ped neurologist that diagnosed it. his name is Dr. Murphey. He is with Cooke Childrens hospital.

I havent been on in a while, but i wanted everyone to know that we finally did get a diagnosis for PANDAS and we meet with a dr in Fort Worth on June 28th to discuss treatment. So, if they can't get us treated I will be calling one of the drs yall have used on here.

It looks like my 10-yo daughter might be joining the club soon We are doing some bloodwork tomorrow. If she does have it, she would love to have a pen-pal. She loves to write, and I found with my 12-yo PANDAS son, who does NOT like to write, when he is going through and exacerbation and can't talk about the bad thoughts, he finds it a lot easier to express himself in writing, and it helps bring down the anxiety beautifully. Isabel She would be happy to have friends with this illness....We dont have a pandas diagnosis yet, but we are pretty much sure she has it. And, she has lyme disease, so both of them together is crazyyyy.....So, has both of your children tested in the range for the pandas?

Does anyone have a little girl who is around the age of 10 and has lyme and/or pandas? My daughter would like to get to know some of the kids who have these things...... Mandy

she is currently on minocycline and azithromicin, along with a complete vitamin, because alot of her vitamins are down. What are your children on? mandy

yes, my daughter has lyme and pandas and it has been particularly difficult because the symptoms for both diseases are the same. She has really bad Tics, anxiety and emotional/behavioral issues. She recently did IVIG and we saw a significant improvement in everything for a couple of days (and she slipped back again recently) so we plan to do another IVIG in August. My daughter has all of the same, and she has multiple personalities....They keep trying to put her in a psych hospital but i am not letting them do that to her. Her dr in connecticut says that we should do the IVIG, so I am gonna try to find her a pandas dr closer to oklahoma if you know of any.. Thanks
