About Me
Our oldest son was originally diagnosed in 2007 (at age 11) with acute rheumatic fever with Sydenham's chorea after rapid-onset symptoms following high fever. In 2008, diagnosis changed to PANDAS. Two major "classic PANDAS" exacerbations in 2008 and 2009. After 3 IVIG's with Dr. K and many months of "Saving Sammy" dose of augmentin XR, our son (now 14) is doing very well!
