Herxing?

Just a quick update. My son ended up complaining of a sore throat too so I am assuming it wasn't herxing after all. It was odd though. Came on quick and now he's fine. He didn't have much energy over the weekend but seems back to himself this morning. Must have just been a 72 hr thing.

 

My son is on Zith and Augmentin and has been for about 2 weeks. Today he started with a fever and complaining that his legs hurt. He missed a birthday party tonight and told me he wished he wasn't so sick. I held back tears. He went to bed saying he was exhausted. He is still warm although I didn't give Motrin bc I feel that he's had so much what with the Zith and Augmentin. Is this herxing? We are IGenex positive for Lyme and one band shy of CDC positive. This is our first time with any reaction since trying any antibiotics. If it is herxing, should I stop the antibiotics for now?

:-) so funny. Good luck with the test. The cd57 is a good lyme screen for adults that is covered by insurance.
