Oh thanks!! Don't want to make it worse!! Yikes!! What do you think coke slurpees will do? I'm really worried he isn't going to drink enough. I wanted to make it as appealing as possible. He pulled that yesterday at the ivig, they gave him fluids to help. I had a doc tell me once get them to drink no matter what...of course, we weren't talking about pandas...just general old sickness. PM/email what you think...I don't want to hijack the topic!!

Good luck Saidie!! We can hold on tight together the next few weeks!!!

Never a hijacked topic! ALL good advice!!!! I am upping fluid intake...my son loves lemon-lime Gatorade so doing that, picking up Omega 3 supplements today...any advice on dose for 7yr old weighting 45lbs? I will ask at Health Food Store too. Also going to pick up Culterelle? I need to write it down but it is the probiotic mentioned the yogurt post...going to look at the one that starts with an F too! Epsom Salts too for some soothing and relaxing baths. DS is wanting to stay in his bed a lot and watch TV. I am FINE with that. He says he feels safe there and his mind can rest...that is what heeds right now anyway!

Keep in mind that Omega's can cause tics to be worse in some kids. I always feel I have to post that for kids with tics because my daughter had such a strong reaction to it.

Interesting point. My son is not bothered at all with dyes. However, Omegas are like poison to him. Horrible reaction.

Personally, I add nothing new and do nothing different after an ivig. I just trust that the body will do what it needs to do to heal. I do this because I do not know what he will or will not react to. For me, I believe it is safer to let the new anti-bodies do their work without any interference from me.
