Lori Ann Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Quit the gym in April, can't even take the dog for a walk when DH is away on business. That cold glass of chardonnay after ds goes to bed helps reset my brain so I can do it all over again the next day!
Joan Pandas Mom Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 We must be on the same wave length! We are going home tomorrow on the redeye. I decided to take Wed. to rest and get caught up on mail, BUT Thursday I'm starting. My plan is to wake up 45 min. earlier and exercise .I don't feel right and have definitely ignored my health. Dr. K said PANDAS parents always look so tired. I know I have aged A LOT over the years.
michele Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 My son's PANDAS hit eight years ago. I was 30 yrs old and I started aches and pains all over my body. Now I am a mess at 39. I have ignored my body. My rheumatoid factor is off the charts and so is my inflammation factor. I had to go on 4 arthritis meds including weekly infusions for the pain and swelling and stiffness. I have aged so much, and gained so much weight especially in the belly. I agree sleep is a big part of it. I haven't been able to stay asleep in years. I worry so much abbout his future. We can not seem to get him better and it is stressful. If I can get my arthritis under control I would love to start yoga or some relaxing exercise that is low impact. kimballot Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 OK... I made an appointment for a test that my doctor had ordered.. just like I said I would. I promise to call this week to make a follow up appointment with my primary MD. How is everyone else doing? Anyone else do something for their own health recently?
