NO one ever has to pay out of pocket is what I've heard. I wish that were true. We happen to be one of only two people that have paid out of pocket for IVIG with Dr. B. Melanie, I think your chances are very good that you will be approved because your child is already getting IVIG. It really depends on your insurance company and what they will cover if you are out of network. Dr. B. does all that he can to get you covered, it is rare that anyone is denied. We just happen to have stinky insurance. You should know soon, or maybe give Stella a call and ask her what the status is.

Try to make sure he gets a ton of water!
melanie Posted July 17, 2010 Author Report Posted July 17, 2010 Ivs over phew that was a long one.Slow drip 7 1/2 hrs.The Iv fell out 1x .I dont know if hes comming down with anything I think his anxiety and oCD is taking over Peg,Im fed up with this and I think Im going to call Dr B and schedule with him the higher dosage Melanie
peglem Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 I'm still not certain about whether you've seen improvements with the 1g/kg dose or not, or is that something you also are uncertain of? You're in a difficult situation because you're not doing a very low dose or a very high dose. I think I'd at least try a higher dose, too.

Just wondering again about the exposure thing, looking for variables. Do you journal? (I try, but just am horrible at keeping it up!) Seems like that would help to identify what things were different last month.
