Good heavens Vickie--

Please do ask him, to clarify and substantiate--Would he be able to pass along some cautions, studies, etc.? Information is great--it is just that we need to know what we are up against--

 

I know I keep repeating myself-- ...BUT I have two kids that have had sudden-onset moderate to severe OCD (+ facial tics) essentially "cured" by antibiotics. I cannot say this from a more heartfelt position--but strong long-term antibiotics have been the KEY to their healing.

 

This is just too bazaare to make up isn't it! If I had not lived it, I may not have believed it.

My doctor and I discussed c difficile a while ago and he said that he has tons of patients on long term antibiotics and they never get that b/c they take tons of probiotics and they watch for yeast overgrowth. He checks your tongue each visit to make sure it isn't getting whiteish, which would indicate a yeast problem.
