so_hopeful Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 What is the prognosis for Pandas children? Do they really outgrow it at puberty? Also, how soon should aggressive treatment begin, following the onset of symptoms, to be effective? Would a month later still be effective?
thereishope Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 Welcome to the forum! What are you considering "aggressive"? Overall, every child really is different as to what the effective treatment is and how long it will take to see results. If your child's onset was a month ago and you have just begun treatment, the chance is rather optimistic you will see results. Even with treatemnt, it can be a long recovery. Some see improvements immediately, some it is a slower process. Also, how soon should aggressive treatment begin, following the onset of symptoms, to be effective? Would a month later still be effective?
