Dr. Trifiletti on the TODAY show this morning

I kept rewinding thinking I was missing it somewhere.

 

 

I just wached Dr. Nancy's show and unfortunately she spent most of the air time on Tiger Woods. Lauren and Dr. T were not menioned on the show today. If anyone hears of a different day and time she is airing them please post it here.

HI,

Dr T will take insurance for the rest of the year,then he's going off it. That was the impression he gave me, he is now in private practice and does not want to waste a lot of time on insurance issues.

 

He does say on his website that noone will be turned away, regardless of ability to pay. That you can work out a scale of payment.

Unfortunately, I think business will start picking up for him. You all know what I mean when I say "unfortunately."

Just got off from a phone consult with Latimer and she said that what she liked is they talked about it like it was a real disease. She admitted they are still learning how to treat these kids but that people are starting to listen and take notice.

I thought it was interesting to watch. I felt like they listened to the feedback from the last show with Saving Sammy. Little things like clarifying Dr Laura wasn't the treating doctor like it looked like with Sammy. There were a couple other things, but I can't recall them off the top of my head.

 

They did get seem key words out there that were good...

Overall, it was a decent segment.
