Cost of Plasmaphoresis

Hi Listmates,

Does anyone have any info regarding the average cost for a plasaphoresis

treatment. I know the starting rx is 3 times per week for 2 weeks, then reassessed for futher rx.

 

Plasmaphoresis is a filtering of the blood that takes about 5 hours per

rx. as an out patient.

Hi Again,

I am answering my own question in case anyone is interested.

The cost for one treatment is 3.5 K and 6 treatments are given to start.

 

Has anyone been rejected by your insurance for paying for the procedure?
