Pamela Kay
As some of you may remember, I went to a Chiropractor that practiced a/sert. An allergy elimination technique. Anyway I have not gone since Feb of this year. I just today got a bill for $250. I payed every time I visited with possibly the exception of the first time for the consultation. I may have payed that too, I will certainly look it up. Anyway now I am being billed for adjustments something the doctor never said. I thought I was just going for the a/sert not adjustments. He never said anything about adjustments. It was this little clicker thing that went up and down his spine. I figured it was part of the a/sert. Now why I was not billed then and there I have no idea and why it took so long to be billed is beyond me. When I called it was a new girl cleaning up the books. What can I do? Does this sound right? peglem
It doesn't sound right to me. I frequently get erroneous bills for my daughter's care. Whenever I call, I tell them up front that I don't believe I owe because...(in your case, I paid each visit at the time of services.) I have yet to have anybody argue with me...Sometimes they explain and I do owe, but usually they tell me to disregard because I was billed in error.
