myrose Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I tried to paste a link in here but I am on my husbands lap top and I just cannot do it!!! I do like this thing. Anyhow can someone google "our kids magnesium sulfate cream" and then let me know what you think before I place my order tonight. I have made some but its not working well. I have tried too many times and its always a mess. Its better for me to purchase at this time. Thanks so much ahead of time for the ones who check this for me. I am looking to put it on after pool exposure in which seems to be turning into a BIG BIG issue for us. The natural calm works for us in this area but only at amounts that are too high for her. So I am hoping that cutting back to a teaspoon of that and adding the cream will make the difference for us. And yes I do the baths as well...... Thanks again! We are not doing well at all anymore!!!!!!!!!!! But good ole' Chemar came through for me and I believe we are headed in the right direction. Chemar directed me to a WONDERFUL doctor here in Florida and after speaking with them today on the phone I am the most excited as I have been in a long time as far as treatment and help for my daughter. Interesting though....I might add that she was really insistent about our bringing our vaccine record. My daughters eye bliniking started 2 days after getting 9 shots in Nov 06 and it all has progressed since then for us. Not sure how I feel about the whole debate with the shots but I can barely wait to see what she has to say. Have to wait until the 30th!!!! This will be the longest wait of my life!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY getting somewhere, someone that wants to help and not push medication. I fully expect that we will do hair analysis and blood tests for nutritional balances and heavy metal.....most of you know this road.... I have been waiting a long time for this...PLEASE wish us luck and pray for us. I am always praying for everyone here as well.
CarolynN Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 My Rose, Just a heads up on something for us that made the whole magnesium cream less messy. My husband figured out if you put 3 Tablespoons in about 4 ounces of lotion and let it sit over night in a bowl the salts disolve most of the way. Before we were adding water to the epsom salts and microwaving it. It did come out very runny doing it that way. But the lotion overnight seems to be a better system for us. Carolyn
myrose Posted May 13, 2008 Author Report Posted May 13, 2008 Thanks so much as always Carolyn. Your help and guidance in this (along with Chemar) has been the only thing that keeps me going lately. I will try the cream that way but unfortunately I already placed the order. Did you by any chance take a look at it? I will figure this lap top out soon and maybe then I can post a link to it! I need a mouse and this touch pad has done nothing for me but loose full page emails and whatever I am also touching makes it just shut down. I have an email for you in my "waiting to be sent file" I am not done with it yet. Bad bad weekend... I feel better now though and I am so looking forward to getting into this Doctor! Talk soon, and have a wonderful night!
CarolynN Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I look forward to getting your e-mail! That creme looks really interesting. I just saved the web page for my future reference. Let me know how you think it works for her. I know the whole pool thing is really hard when you live in warm, humid, or hot climate. Swimming in Arizona is just a way of life and very hard to avoid as it would be in Florida. We have a community pool and hanging out there is our summer for the most part. It will be interesting to see how Daniel does with the chlorine this year since he is steadily approaching the peak age for tics. He is almost 8 and 10 is typically the peak from my understanding. I am sooooo glad you found a doctor in which you are comfortable. I will be praying for clear answers for you. Just out of curiosity, was she getting an upset stomach being on the higher level of magnesium and that is why you backed off? Carolyn

Talk soon, and have a wonderful night! Hey, my rose: I had a bad, bad weekend too! Mostly OCD stuff with ds. Anyway, I need to try a magnesium cream as well b/c ds was ticcing really badly yesterday and I really do think it was the pool. He was barely ticcing when he woke up and as soon as his body got into the pool he started blinking hard and nose wrinkling with the blinking as well as winking. And, yes, thanks to Carolyn for her information about the cream!
