Gluten Free Oats?

Recommended Posts

Anyone heard of gluten free oats? My son tested a 1 sensitivity to oats, a one to wheat, and a two to Quinoa. I'm assuming it's the gluten in all three, since all three have gluten in them. I believe. There's a website you can buy gluten free oats and I was wanting some for cookie making if it would be okay for my son!

Yes,

We use gluten free oats and our Tigger loves them. We do it once a week at the most. He originally tested intolerant to oats (low on the Alcat) last year. He tolerates them fine now, although we did wait almost a year to reintroduce them.

Laura oats out of Canada does it for us. We order directly thru them oatmeal for hot cereal and oatmeal flour that can be used to make waffles, bread, etc.

Another outlet for food that we order directly from is Papadini pastas such as spaghetti, penne, etc that is made from lentil beans.
