Interesting coincidence of PANDAS

My wife came home this morning after talking with another mother who has an 8 yr old who started symptoms of PANDAS the same month as our son did. They went to the same school at the time as well. After he had strep the tics began for the first time. I thought this was an amazing coincidence. I wonder if there are certain strains of strep that cause PANDAS.

That is so interesting. How lucky for your wife to meet up with another mom who is going through something similar. Most people look at me like I have no idea what you are talking about when I say PANDAS! I know Dr. Murphy said strep is very common making it hard to avoid. Guess what? I finally got the ID Dr. to write a prescription for a stronger prescription ffor flare ups based on Dr. Murphy's recommendation. I had been begging him to try it for months.
