Guest
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I decided to post my chelation therapy test results online. They include urine toxic metals & fecal metals from July of 2005 which was shortly after my amalgam filling removal up until the present. You can see those results at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/carolyn_natur...4736825/detail/ You can click on all the test result sheets individually and increase the size to see them more clearly. I plan to add more test results such as stool, vitamins, pyroluria, etc. to that page as time permits. This is just a suggestion, but I think that this might be a really good idea for others too. Even though everyone with TS are very individualized when it comes to these tests, I think it would be beneficial to be able to share these results. It's very easy to do with a scanner(even using a scanner at a library if needed). I like using http://www.flickr.com/ to add my pictures because it's easy to share them and it allows you a lot of space. I just added these test result sheets as if they were pictures. I deleted the personal information such as doctor's name, etc. before posting my results. Also I have blog that includes this heavy metal chelation info, coconut allergy, links, and some allergy free diet information so far. http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-CgBKNPgyerS...5AayD2.nE-?cq=1 I have posted in the past about my chelation experiences. kim
Carolyn, What a wonderful resource, for parents who are keeping chelation options in mind. I'm wondering if you ever went to the 4 hour dosing on the DMSA? I know there is a certain chemist, who doesn't like to be quoted, that has a very firm opinion on the necessity of every 4 hours, to avoid redistribution. I will be very interested to see what your results show, if you go to oral DMSA too.

Guest
The websites that Kim listed are very good about explaining the DMSA. That's where I'd go for more info too. For me the chelation therapy didn't help much with my tics and instead helped mostly with the sensory processing disorder. However, everyone responds differently so just because my tics didn't respond to the chelation, doesn't mean that someone else won't either.
