Cardiac related issues....anyone?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Is there anyone on this forum that has a child with related cardiac issues due to PANDAS/PANS, Lyme, etc?  If so, did you notice any improvement after treatment? What helped, what didn't? Was there any resolution of cardiac symptoms after treatment? What was your experience?

Thanks!

DS had intermittent bouts of long qt intervals.  Turned out to be tied to use of azithromycin (which, apparently, is not that uncommon).  Once we permanently switched him away from that antibiotic, the issues resolved and have not returned in three years.

Once in this PANS/PANDAS group, type cardiac in the search bar (near top right), and you will get a lot of discussion including from folks that have had cardiac issues.
