trintiybella Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 A couple of years ago, I had a lump on the front of my neck. I went to endocrinoligist and had ultrasound and bloodworm. The doc said it was a multi nodular goiter. He wanted me to follow up with blood work and and another ultrasound which I never did. :0( The other day I went to the doctor for a tic bite and he did blood work. It showed that my TSH was low and my Thyroglobulin Antibody was high, and said i need to go back to endo. Now I am really Nervous that I let this lump go. Anyone ever deal with anything like this? Thanks
mama2alex Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) I haven't had any thyroid problems myself, but I would highly recommend you read the book Iodine: Why You Need It, Why You Can't Live Without It by Dr Brownstein before you start a prescription from an allopathic doctor. The book explains in detail the impact of iodine deficiency on thyroid function/health and why most Americans are deficient. It's an easy, quick read. Edited March 22, 2016 by mama2alex mama2alex 1
kim Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Have you read up on Hashimoto? I don't know much on the subject but I think anti-TG is a marker?
