kim
This stuff is unbelievable If inhaling the mercury cleaning up one of these broken bulbs can be harmful, what might the "trace" amounts of mercury still contained in vaccines be doing? Some of the flu shots still contain the same amts. that they always did. Amalgam fillings, inhaled mercury from power plants? These dangers have been warned about on regular fluorescent bulbs also. Wonder what would happen, if you injected this amount into an infant? http://www.firstcoastnews.com/money/onyour...x?storyid=81472 According to the Federal Government's 'Energy Star' website, the tiny amount of mercury in the bulbs -- described as being the equivalent size of the ball point on a pen -- can create harmful vapors if the bulb is broken. "Mercury is a obviously something that could pose a risk to both health and environment so you just want to be careful when disposing of any hazardous waste," said DEP's Johnson.
