trintiybella Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 IGG is positive but not the IGM, so why does the valtrex help so much? Thanks
trintiybella Posted July 19, 2014 Author Report Posted July 19, 2014 So far....It slowed down the racing/bombarding thoughts and she can now leave the house, shower and hold a conversation with other children. Helps with sleep too.
SSS Posted July 19, 2014 Report Posted July 19, 2014 A very high IgG does not necessarily mean past infection, the prescribing Dr. probably explained this to you- glad you are seeing improvement, go with it.
rowingmom Posted July 21, 2014 Report Posted July 21, 2014 Trinity - we had great luck with herbs for protozoan infection, even though tests for the common protozoan coinfection (babesia) were negative. Who knows what we are treating with the anti-protozoan, and who knows what you are treating with the antiviral. If you are seeing improvement, you have another piece of your puzzle!
