Mayzoo Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 (edited) $40 for 30 days worth? Since it has the streptococcus strain in it, I would just go with the much cheaper alternative of kefir myself. There is a water kefir option for those who are allergic to milk. For pennies a day, you get so much more. Here is a list of what is in an average milk kefir batch: http://www.culturesforhealth.com/milk-kefir-grains-composition-bacteria-yeast/# We also give Healthy Origins Probiotic in addition to the kefir (37.49 for 150 caps). It has 8 strains at 30B CFU. This adds the Bifidobacterium strains which the kefir is short on. We ultimately spend about .26 a day and her gut at last testing was doing great.
