mama2alex
I've been thinking about our water lately and worrying that it's a huge source of toxins. What do you all do about drinking water? Any good filtration systems you'd recommend? We're in an apartment, so I think we may be limited on what we can use. We used to have an AquaSana countertop filter hooked into our kitchen sink at our house, but I don't think it filters out fluoride. Any suggestions? pr40
we have a filtration system as a part of our pipes. we use one of the aqua pure filters. they seem to do a good enough job.
Mayzoo
We use a PUR plus water filter. It attaches to the water spicket. Our water is horrible, smells alternately like algea and cholrine. It is frequently tinged yellow/brown without filtration . I have sent it in to be tested, but have not received any results yet. rowingmom
We have an undersink RO filter. Never know what kind of chemicals they are drawing out of the Great Lakes for our municipal water.
Vbakersimon
We have an Aquasana filter, which works well. It was easy to install, and relatively inexpensive. We used to have a reverse osmosis system, which is the gold standard for filtration, BUT it wastes a lot of water AND our system had a leak under the sink where it was installed which caused a mold problem :-(. Good luck!
