ENT willing to do tonsillectomy in DC area

We met a compassionate ENT yesterday who is willing to remove T & A for a PANDAS dx.

 

PM me if you would like his name. He gets a lot of referrals from Dr. L in Bethesda.

Just make sure you know in advance if your insurance company will pick up the bill with that diagnosis.

The actual dx is chronic strep infections - doc was fine with labs showing elevated ASO titers over the past 2 years even though my son has atypical strep symptoms.

Thats great if your insurance co covers it. With our plan we had to prove 5 or more positive cultures in a year or have obstructive sleep apnea. Titres were not accepted. Fortunately we had a sleep study and found that he had sleep apnea. Thank goodness for small miracles!!
