From the feedback I got after our appointment with Dr.N. I would not suggest Lyme or pandas. Let Dr.N find a diagnoses and a way to help

your daughter. You came because your child is in trouble and need him to figure it out.

I think you need to be somewhat honest, if he is to be able to help you. I assume that you are seeing him because despite treatment, your child is not getting better? Maybe it is time to put it all on the table and re evaluate. Otherwise, I don't understand why you are going?

I'd tell him the symptoms you're seeing and what treatments you are doing or have done. Answer his questions honestly, but I think the advice in another thread was not to suggest or come looking for a specific dx. But, surely, you could say Dr. SoandSo rx'd this or that because he thinks my child has lyme disease...

If your child has labwork showing CDC positive for lyme or co-infections, and/or there are specific symptoms, such as the bartonella rash, for instance, I would tell him, that Dr._________ diagnosed and started treatment. But, explain that you are at a loss as to why your child is not improving, and that you really need his help in finding out what is truly wrong, and what to do about it. Then, leave it to him to put the puzzle pieces together.
