Increase in symptoms before IVIG?

Hello. My dd is finally scheduled for her first IVIG this week after 11 months of waiting. As we near the date, her symptoms are exploding - tics and intrusive thoughts. She doesn't seem to be sick so I don't think she has caught anything. Best I can guess is that she is just super anxious about IVIG. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this in their kids before?

How old is your ds? My ds, age 7, was too young to stress out about it. Plus, he has no fear of needles at all, so that probably played a huge role as well. I know that when my ds is stressed though, it definitely makes things worse. They will give him a benedrill, so that will calm him down during the treatment, which should help. Best of luck!!!
