cobygurl Posted September 3, 2013 Report Posted September 3, 2013 Hi, My son was just prescribed immunolox spray (bovine colostrum I believe) to help modulate his immune system. Has anyone else tried this? What were your results? Also, any success with nasal spray B12? Thanks!
Pandasphilly Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 My pandas child always states that immunolox irritates his throat or makes it feel like sore throat. Then he starts with the throat clearing. My non pandas and I tried it and and feel no side effects but we haven't used it long enough to gauge the results or benefits of immunity.
rowingmom Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 (edited) We were prescribed Virapress (bovine albumin/globulins) drops. It caused a large inflammation reaction for me - muscle and joint pain, flu-like symptoms - like my immune system was in overdrive. I didn't even bother to try it on DD. The reaction was substantial and very quick. We had been prescribed 4 drops daily. My reaction was to two drops. We seem to have more success using herbs to stimulate our own immune systems ie., low dose astragalus, COLD-FX (extract of American ginseng), and cordyceps. Edited September 9, 2013 by rowingmom
