trintiybella
She has always had sore ankles, but now complains that when she stays on feet too long, bottom of heals hurt. She said It feels like the pointy bone inside her foot is making direct contact with the ground and there is no cushioning between them. Anyone have this? LaurenK
This is a reactive arthritis symptom for me. It's a different autoimmune problem that can go along with strep mediated autoimmune issues. I got it 5 weeks after my first missed strep infection. It went away with PANDAS treatment. NancyD
Both my DD and I had severe foot pain (bottom of foot) for years. I even had two surgeries -- one for plantar fasciitis and one for a heel spur. Neither helped the foot pain. I tried physical therapy and all sorts of contraptions. Turned out, it was Bartonella and the abx cleared up the foot pain rather quickly. Foot pain is a hallmark sign of Bartonella.
tpotter
Sounds like bartonella to me. I had it, and it cleared up with abx.
