smartyjones
Julia -- I just saw on your tag line you love this honey. I have heard of it but not really specifics. our local natural food store has trouble keeping it in -- they seem to rave about it but it's never in when I go there. I use raw honey for sore throats and coughs and like it better than over the counter stuff. what are you using it for? used it for skin abrasions? thanks. Mayzoo
I do not know how much it is at your local store, but you can get almost anything on amazon now days. Here is the search for manuka honey: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=manuka%20honey JuliaFaith
JuliaFaith
We originally saw Betterhealthguy.com mentioning it and decided to try it. It seems as soon as son is off anti-fungals his ear(s) start hurting and dh has sinus issues. Dh actually researched it and we all started using his mixture (1-2 tsp. Honey/4 oz distilled water) in refrigerator. I would think it would work on abrasions as well. It got rid of my stuffed ear in 2 days with 1 drop each night. Dh says it seems to be helping with sinuses and just started using 3 days ago on son's ear and there was no pain last night. May just use it every times he gets out of bath. If we use on sinuses it will only be once a week. Oh, also used in tea for sore throat and it felt so good and gone quickly. Supposed to be antibacterial/anti-fungal/antiviral. It does have a medicine taste to it. We did get one that is mgo400+ or higher (or 15+ or higher-different brands). This is what was recommended in my dh research. We love it and so inexpensive when diluted! I should do a commercial!!! Lol Edited June 24, 2013 by JuliaFaith

Mayzoo
You are welcome . I live in a tiny town over 20 minutes from a small town LOL. I shop online a lot to get the variety of what I want since a truly decent town is over 45 minutes from me. It has become second nature now for me to check amazon and ebay. Hope it helps someone . Lol We have a pool, and I have been using 1/2 white vinegar mixed with 1/2 rubbing alcohol in kiddos ears for years after we get out of the pool. No ear aches since starting this. It works as an anti-fungal by altering the PH to an inhospitable level for fungus. I will try this mixture next time kiddo has an ear ache though. She gets them in the winter sometimes.
