Just thought this was interesting.

Three years ago when my son had his first major exacerbation, he acquired a tic in his throat that was very unique sounding. It lasted 7 mos. and 22 days and disappeared. Then at 2 1/2 years he had his second major exacerbation and got the same tic. Now, 7 months and a few days his tic is almost gone, just like last time. Wonder if it relates to the neurotransmitters taking months to a year to heal?
