ThinkGutBacteria Posted February 22, 2013 Report Share Posted February 22, 2013 Yeah, it's kind of caustic stuff, but there's an interesting paper out there by a group in Holland suggesting carvacrol (a volatile compound in oregano and simiilar herbs) can actually help goose the production of regulatory T cells (and damp down autoimmunity) when administered in the presence of an autoimmune trigger.
