HI

Has anyone seen this doctor? Comments on him? I am so scared of IVIG due to it possibly passing on hepatitis and or stealth infections. Wonder how long should you wait trying anti-biotics before you go that route?

I have not personally been to see him or used him but know people who have done long term IVIG with him and were pleased. As far as how long to stay on antibiotics before moving on...that's a personal choice but most would stay if they have reached a level of remission they are happy with consistently. Sometimes I feel like it is easier to get IVIG prescribed than to find a Dr. to work with you in trying different antibiotics and dosages that get the lasting results you want!

 

Best of luck to you that you don't have to move on to an intervention that you are not comfortable with.
