I am wondering is my ds9 might have yeast overgrowth from antibiotics. He had a 3 day course of azithromycin. Then after a few weeks had 3 courses of lower dose azithromycin. Then after 11 days, had a higher/regular dose of azithromycin. He started with a throat clearing tic while on the antibiotic, and then during the last course of azithromycin, he started with a very obvious coughing tic, on day one of the last course of azith. If is turns out to be yeast overgrowth...what should I do, and what should I not do?

I will be connecting with a naturopath in a few days. While I am waiting, I am wondering what has worked for people.

I gave him Calm Kids for the first time. Don't know if Calm Kids has helped people with vocal tics.

I posted on the other site too.

Garlic pills have worked well for my kids' yeast issues, in addition to probiotics. Also consider seasonal allergies as a trigger.

What about fresh cloves of garlic? Would that be ok? My son will eat fresh garlic if I cut off a small piece, and then give him water. What about raw onions? Would that help too? I gabve my ds9 some fresh garlic and a bite of a fresh raw onion yesterday, and he said that his ears burned and stung. Isn't that a sign of an infection in the ears? He used to experience that when he was 3 and 4 years old after sucking on fresh lemons, and had an xray determining that his adenoids were totally enlarged, and he was always stuffed up. I now think that there is likely some infection that causes that type of reaction. Don't know though for sure.

Which probiotics do you use LLM?
