Does LYME have symptoms in which, you feel like someone is poking your eyes with a needle from the inside out, it is an intermittent sharp pain that will go away for weeks and then come back. Also, I have my right cheek feels like its gone paralyzed for a few seconds then the feeling goes away. My right eye has been twitching intermittenly for days. When all these weird symptoms started I got a weird bump over my right eye, its under my skin and you can feel it but not see it. Sometimes it hurts a little but not much. Oh also, chronic itching in which the itch seems to move around and can never be found. Its an itch that cannot be scratched basically.

Are any of these lyme symptoms?

*Yes!

I find that (and read this is common) certain Lyme oddities and symptoms come and go.

The eye twitch is completely annoying when it hits- I up my magnesium when this happens.

I have had stabbing ice pick headaches behind my left eye, and other types of migraine headaches. Advil helps me with that, but if progressed to unbearable (incapacitated, does not happen very often) I have resorted to a pain killer.

And the itching! I went through a spell of this- it was crazy- zoomed to different parts under my skin, if I itched it made it worse, but no rash or hives. I took (and still do) hot Epsom salt w/ some dead sea salt baths- I still do this for detox- sweat out stuff. But seemed to relieve it for a bit. Anti- itch lotions did not help me with mine.

I will quit with my laundry list now. Hang in there, things will get better with proper treatment.

poking of eyes - never had or heard of that one, although have had intermittent sharp pain that moved between foot and leg

eye twitching - had that one myself, yes

chronic itching - oh yes, had that and have heard others having that

Yes, those symptoms sound like they could be from lyme.

I get awful pains like that in my toes so I would imagine you can get them in your eyes and I can only imagine how bad it is there!

My arm was paralyzed, not for moments but for 2 months. I sometimes get a sensation that starts in my hands and moves to my neck that feels like I will become paralyzed and it usually passes in about 2 minutes, especially if I can lie down.

I had twitches all over my body that would just travel here and there including the tip of my nose!

I had itching to but it went away when I stopped eating wheat.
