vision zooming in/out

Has anyone had that? My DS complained about that last night, and it really scared him.

Lyme has a propensity to set up in the eyes and the associated nerves. My daughter had many vision and focusing problems because of Lyme, but not the specific one that you mentioned. I hope it is a transient problem.

Do you think that things suddenly looked too big or too small? I've heard of Alice in Wonderland syndrome being associated with lyme.

 

At her worst, my dd had flashing lights and colored dots in her vision along with seeing things that weren't there.

He said it wasn't bigger or smaller, but I do fear that it is lyme (he has so many co-infections, I wouldn't be surprised.) He's seeing the eye dr this week, and I suspect he's going to refer him to a specialist.
