Hmmm...I am so confused.

 

Well at any rate it needs tx. The vet agreed to tx my other dog for 3 weeks. So then eveeyone else gets bicillin.

so beta hemolytic streptococci heavy growth is not the strep that makes kids sick?

 

I called the nih and they thought it was interesting. Also said they have heard it before

 

There are many species of beta hemolytic strep. Group A is what causes strep throat/rheumatic fever/scarlet fever. There is also group B (the one you worry about in pregnant women), group C (causes strangles in horses), group D, group F, and group G (typically found in animals--what your dog proabably has).
